The CEKA Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) places students in the labs of world renowned scientists to conduct research in environmental kinetics.

Location: Penn State University , University Park , PA

Dates: June 2 through July 25, 2008

Terms: Students receive $3000 stipend, plus room and board

Eligibility: Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Candidates should be between their sophomore and junior years or junior and senior years to be considered for acceptance. Women and individuals from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Program Description: The 8-week summer program includes lab time, field trips, professional development seminars and a mini-symposium.
